Hershey's Homemade Chocolate Frosting Recipe
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
2/3 cup Hershey's cocoa
3 cups confectioner's sugar (powdered sugar)
1/3 cup cold milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Melt the butter or margarine (I use butter) in the microwave or via the stove top. Pour melted butter into a large mixing bowl. Stir in the cocoa powder, confectioner's sugar and cold milk, stirring after each addition. Use an electric mixer to beat the ingredients until they are of spreading consistency. Stir in the vanilla extract and beat frosting again. Spread the chocolate frosting onto your favorite cake, cupcakes or brownies.
