Taking Time To Sew....

With the arrival of our precious grand-daughter 10 weeks ago, I decided to make some pretty bibs for her...so far I have made about 10 of them to match various outfits that she has and they are turning out wonderfully.

Several of my daughters friends have seen the custom-made bibs and now want them for their babies...so I made her one friends little son a baseball themed bib since his daddy is a total baseball nut.

I have been enjoying sitting down and sewing again and finished a Noah's Ark Themed Crib Quilt a few days ago. (I will get pics of that this week).

I am hoping to get busy sewing and embroidering some burp pads and baby wash cloths in a few days.

Mommy's Girl...And Nanny's Too!

Oh I just so love it when J puts those little cutesy headbands on baby G...they are just too cute! On the way home from the doctors the other day, I got pappy to stop into a local children's store and made him buy Baby G a new pink bow headband LOL yup, pappy forked out $15 for a headband...just for baby G.

Not only is Baby G a mommy's girl...but she is also a nanny and pappy's girl :)

All Dolled Up....For A Baby Shower!

I am enjoying my time as a new grandmother! We took baby G with us to a baby shower 2 weeks ago along with her mother J. It is hard to believe that Baby G is already 9 weeks old and is growing like a weed!

We love spending time with her as she is really alert and is starting her baby talk and cooing. I love to listen to my hubby do his "baby talking" back to Baby G, its hysterical. He is such a great grandfather and was an awesome father to Baby G's mother J. I love watching him talk to her, hold her and yes...even sing to her.

Baby G is the apple of our eyes and we never thought we could love someone as much as we love our daughter J...Baby G is doing well and at 9 weeks of age she weighs in at 11 lbs and 2 ounces and she is developing those cute little baby fat rolls on her body LOL She is definately filling out and getting baby pudgy.
