Primitive Snowman and Holiday Throw Pillows

I love to spend time stitching up primitive home decor items, especially when they are of a holiday theme. I recently found a website called Primitive Stitches and you can visit the site ----> HERE

I decided to get back into doing craft shows and craft making again as I really miss it. Anyway, I recently purchased about a dozen patterns from Primitive Stitches and love them! They are easy and they quickly arrived in my email.

The picture above shows the adoreable Stanley Snowman pattern which I turned into a primitive throw pillow.

The above picture shows the primitive holiday tree pattern that I also stitched up and turned into a throw pillow. I was fortunate enough to raid my great aunties sewing box and found some vintage 1970's buttons to use for it.

I stitched both of them on tea-stained muslin that I personally stained and then the back cover is done in a check pattern homespun. Both are filled with a 14" square poly-fill pillow that is allergen free. I used only DMC floss for the stitching.

I think they turned out fabulous and I can't wait to show them at my craft shows.
